Then all I ask is that you be aware, and be involved in the homing of the pups. Make sure you do a thorough home check :)

Unforunatly when you own a stud you have NO control over where the pups are homed.

    Oh dear, that's a shame :(

Then I will change it to making sure you stud to a reputable breeder!

I'm not saying you don't :p but some people want these dogs purely to train them to be fighters and to abuse them.

Are you saying what I think you are saying, that he should be fed steroids to build muscle?

sallyannes staffs are a brilliant example of the breed please do not slate them, having too much muscle is not a good thing, thats typical talk of someone who want s "hard" looking dog.
sallyanne has pointed out some faults but has also told you that you can`t really judge from a picture.

agreed. Her comments were comparing the OPs dog to breed standard... i cant say the same for critisism on her dogs - beautiful, healthy looking staffs <3

We do indeed, but we are all blinkered by our own dogs.

I think a little bit unfair comment to sallyanne, I have always found her advice very knowledgeable.

I foster for rescue and the amount of poor unwanted staffs out there is horrendous.:(

My dog is fine thanks! this thread is about YOUR DOG NOT MINE!
Right your dogs faults,he is not balanced, fit or agile he is overweight for his height,he has an ear carriage fault, eye fault, his topline is not level,he does not have clean lips, legs and shoulders are out, etc,

I have given my opinion, yes he's a nice dog BUT NOT BREEDING MATERIAL!!!!
