Hi, i have got into a habbit of cooking breakfast for our siberian husky puppy everyday he has:

Steamed mixed veg mixed with raw salmon and chicken. he seems to absolutly love it but he doesn't normally like anything that is good for him so i just thought i would check that hes allowed to eat this.

    Kind regards

    Crystal.

It's absolutely fine providing his other meals are complete and balanced. Is the chicken raw too? You could always try giving him the veg raw aswell, most love the crunch ;)

I'd leave the cheese off. Dairy isn't great for them.

  10. I am pretty sure that if you arae giving salmon to a dog then it has to be well cooked!

I'm sure its OK raw as long as it has been frozen for minimum 48 hours. Sorry don't mean to be rude, just realised reading back, it did sound rude. Its what I was told but not 100% sure

Its cool it is fresh fish from the fish counter not cheap stuff lol.

We do try to get arctic white fish which is more like a natrual food but its not always possible.

  13. Won't argue with you! and suppose if it has been frozen then that could alter things! but sure salmon uncooked can be poisioness! would be interested to know 100%

Lol, I wouldnt give him Chocolate or grapes or anything not perscribed by a vet lol. Obviously.

However, animals cant cook food in the wild lol, and huskies are renowned fish eaters :D

I was questioning the Veg and cheese more than anything as its not the sort of thing they would eat in a habitat such as siberia :s

  17. Noushka 05 is around and online - ask her - she feeds raw
When you put it like that I could well be wrong!

  19. So assume you are freezing it first - or guess it will have been frozen prior to you buying it!:)
