Insurance and vets

    If I decide to change my vet to another vet, can I keep my opld insurance policy for my two cats and transfer it to the new vet, please advice.

    Couldn't see why not - it's your cats that are insured and it is not specific to any particular vet. I would contact the insurers and let them know you are changing vet though to save any hassle. :smile:

    Not sure what you mean by opid insurance? If its with a major independant company like pet plan,more than, etc etc. you can change to whatever vets you want. If its a health plan run by your specific vets or vets group then possibly not.

    Yes. The insurance company doesn't care which vet you use. BUT the new vet should get your pet's records from your old vet.
