We took Tilly for her pre op check, as she was due to be spayed on Tuesday and it was decided that she needed a referral to a specialist for Inguinal hernia's.
She will now have both operations together hopefully. I am worried as i have not had any dealings with this sort of hernia before and do not know anyone that has.
Has anyone gone through the same thing and have any tips or stories to tell me about it.

cant remember where inguinal is sorry but i bred a pup once who had one almost like inside her back leg ,vet repaired it at 7 weeks as it was quite large and even he was surprised that it was actually comming through the muscle ,but op was fine and pup recovered quickly

  4. Hmm... All I can say is that my dog too, has a hernia.

Good luck with the operations x

I know that inguinal hernias are hereditary, and that it isn’t advisable to breed from the parents who have produced affected puppies again.

I don't think she will be bred from again, it's that lovely dog that you helped to save :D
