So it was Peeing it down all morning here, we had planned to take the dogs out to the beach. Thought we were going to stay at home it was Miserable!

But- just after lunch time, the SUN came out for a short while :D And there were some breaks in the rain clouds so we decided to chance it and all piled into the car.

We decided against the beach in favour of The Otter Pools, as it is more sheltered by trees there- plus we hadn't been there for ages.

Anyway as luck would have it, even though there was a HEAVY downpour halfway up the Raiders Road, it stopped when we got to the car park and by the time we were coming home the road had started to dry up!

Anyway, I'm going to shut up now and let you have what you came on this thread for...... :D :D

There used to be a bronze Otter statue here, but years ago someone stole it :( so there is this stone one now.

What a lovely place :). I love the skull and crossbone wellies and the photo of Dixie and Chase sitting on the rock is great - their expressions are priceless!

Thanks everyone :) it sure is a lovely place to go, the dogs have plenty of place to tear about and have fun without us having to leave Nigel behind (he can't walk far) and it meant the kids could run about and enjoy it too.

Hoping to head back over there on weds (but that might change for the beach lol so beware for more pics! )
