For those of you who have been following my previous threads re Bella's paw, it looks much better now...but this has happened again in the past and then swollen up again:(
We are booked in for surgery on Monday, but of course our vet will not go ahead (we have been deciding and undeciding this option for 3 weeks now) if he thinks the paw can heal on its own. If there is a forgein body, however, it will blister again.

Anyway, Bella is supposed to be fasted tomorrow after 7pm...which I will do just in case we do operate on Monday. More likley than not we will just end up going to the vet for a check up if she continues to improve. But this alsmot identical scenario has already happened...I'm wondering if I shouldnt jsut ask him to open her paw up and see if there is indeed a foreign body (which we couldnt detect going in with special tweezers under local...).

Our vet is extremely keen to avoid GA and incision - stitches, so I know he will want to give it just one last chance if the paw looks like it is getting better...

So I'm feelig relieved, apprehensively hopeful, and confused.

Bella's paw is a bit worse again today.
This so silly when I know there are dogs out there with much more serious problems, but it's really bothering me and also worrying me.
So we re going ahead with fasting after 7pm. If tomorrow the vet decides against operating then clearly we won't go ahead, but I don't think this will be the case. I wish I had been keeping a photo diary because I'm confusing myself by looking at her paw all the time. I took one photo yesterday when it looked like it was getting better, and I will take another photo now...but I wish i had records from the beginning of this whole affair!
I will post pictures when I upload them, probably iwht post surgery ones too!
