Hi I am new to this forum and I have a lovely male cat called Alfie and a lively Mini labradoodle dog called Jazz. My first question relates to Alfie the cat. Without going into too much private information, I just wanted to know if anyone has any advice on how to settle a cat into a new home. In particular, a much smaller home. Alfie is used to living in a very large 4 bedroom house where he goes in and out of his cat flap as he chooses.
However he is moving into a small two bedroom top floor (2nd level) flat where he will unable to go outside. ALthough it does have a balcony. Will he be able to adjust to this? And is there anything we can do to make it more easy for him to adjust? Should we let him on the balcony, etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
