(again lol) We lived there for 6 years then I came home to breed dogs and import English Shepherds. But I miss my hubby so much, I'm going back. I'll take my dogs with me, and will come home periodically. :)

LOL I couldn't leave my babies :)

Its a VERY different place. The dogs will have to be exercised at night or in the pool.

I've been here for 2 and 1/2 years.

i think your dogs would love to stay with me and millie :D (please) ?

never been saudi whats it like?

:)
LOL they'll love it with me too ;)
Saudi's a STRANGE place. Inside the compound is like a holiday resort - pools, gyms, bars, etc. Outside - well, no drinking, women can't drive and have to wear black nylon from head to toe, no talking to any male that is not a close relation, etc etc etc...

Not sure when, I was thinking of waiting until after the summer but now the decision has been made, I guess I'll go as soon as I can get a dog specialist to help with their travel.

My ex landlord works out in Saudi. He runs a bar in the place he stays (he fixes up army planes) and has to hide it whenever someone they don't know comes round :scared:

He must live in a private villa rather than a villa on a compound. Thats far too risky for me! :scared:

I remember when i lived in the UAE my friends had just moved from Saudi, they lived on a compound, and for their mum who was quite an independant woman she found it difficult as she had no freedom if she stepped out of the compound.

I remember my dad having a stack of bottles of 'apple juice' against one wall of our bathroom when we lived out there:scared:

What's it like out there then..........living there I mean,????
An experience lol, I consider myself fortunate not to have lived there when I reached puberty as I would have had to wear the black veil (abayah?) but they were good times while we were there
Bahrain & Dubai were a lot more fun places to live:thumbup:
