I'm coming to the UK for a holiday this year. Best places?

    Hi guys, i know i've not been on properly for months :( just want to apologise for the so called workmens fault!! But i need advice, i am coming to the uk for a break, and god knows i need one, everything thats happened this year. But i've only ever gone to manchester, leicester and the cotwalds (when i was a child!) so best places for me and little girl pretty please?! Xx

    Lake district:D:D:D you can't beat it, (perhaps slightly biased as i live there)

    yes if you want to just relax then the lake district is a lovely place to go, was hoping to go myself this year but dont think budget can stretch that far :(

    Northumberland coast, pembroke coast, lakes yorkshire dales. all beautiful if the weathers right :eek:

    Bournemouth is very nice! Plus the New Forest, the Purbecks etc.

    While you're here, you're more than welcome to pop in to mine for a nice cold drink or cup of tea :D

    i lived there for about 4 years when i was little, also worked in pub there till i had my son, only live about 10 miles away, x

    If you want to come to the Lake district, I'm your man. I know of a couple of nice hotels around Ambleside and Keswick. ;)

    i worked in sutton on sea for a while doin cavity wall insulation its very quiet aint it :)

    I agree, Hampshire & Dorset coasts are lovely - am camping in the New Forest in August & coming your way for a day trip to Brownsea, Malaguti.
