What behaviour issues would you be prone to.... or to be more positive, which training focuses would your owners have?

Mine would be Guarding issues around food I think.
Yesterday I brought a French Stick for lunch. With his half hubbie made a Turkey and mayo roll, I dipped my half in a baked Camembert. I really had to over ride my guarding issues when he wanted a dip after he had finished his!

Of course I would also likely be lead aggressive if unable to escape overly friendly or pushy muppets in my space

I'd have focus issues...you could start to train me but if I got bored I'd let you know!

I'd also be reactive towards bolshy dogs who didn't listen to me when I told them to back off.

I'd also resource guard my bed. I love my bed.

I think possibly I would have aggression issues, well my husband tells me to stop snapping often enough! I don`t like people getting in my way so guess I would have a few lead reactive issues going on. I also seem to want to walk faster then anyone else to get where I`m going so would probably be a bit of a puller. On the up side I will happily share my food and would be really good at being left alone, wouldn`t suffer any SA at all, I love my own company.

    What a fun thread!
I think I’m mostly an OCD herder with no off button. :)

Peeing on the floor ;) Just kidding, I'm fully toilet trained.
I'd need some serious training with everything that has already been mentioned. I'm very food orientated though so it shouldn't be too difficult.

Aggression/reactivitity issues here to I think.

I would probably be given away and bounce around a bit being labeled untrainable as I would question why I should do something unless there is a good enough reason (clicker training with milky bar buttons will work well ;) )

I would be a "what's in it for me" type of dog
Food rewards would work to a certain extent but if I couldn't be bothered or couldn't see the benefits then my bottom would be firmly stuck to the sofa ;)

I realised the other day that Lola is basically me, but short and furry. So I would be jealous, pig headed, desperate for cuddles on my own terms, constantly on the lookout for my next meal and bad tempered if I don't get my own way.

Quick question, as we're human dogs, are we allowed chocolate and grapes (of the wine variety) as training treats? If not, then I'm not playing :p

Counter surfing, territorial aggression, reactivity to idiots and people who stand too close without invite.
Also... don't you DARE touch my bone....

I asked OH what he thought my behaviour training issues would be - he said I was basically Chevy in human form - stubborn, constantly ready for the next meal, and needing edible bribary/reward to do what he wants.

    A small touch of SA
    Probably FA too
And although eager to learn if there's nothing in it for me you can p off!

And severe resource guarding over cheesecake!

I'd be a proper velcro dog with extreme SA with one or two people. Everyone else is ignored, very aloof.

Probably be labelled as "unpredictable"; go from 0 - bite in no time at all in some situations... And in other situations I'd just completely shut down.

You'd have to get your owners to train you how to use the remote control as well

    If I were a dog ....

I'd be a bit of a "goody, goody" so as to make my life as easy as possible!
I don't understand the logic of pulling on the lead, when I can potter along reading my pee-mail.
Greeting other dogs is a waste of my valuable time.
I'd be much too lazy to do any sports ... too much effort required for my liking.
But my food would have to be interesting, my bed comfy and the sofa always available.
If not I'd nag and complain until everything was to my satisfaction!

Amazing how much like Georgina I am!
