We play hide and seek a lot and fetch games, but I am looking for ideas on other games suitable for our lab x springer who is 6 months old. We also play with a lunge whip outside, but only for a short time as it is very physical. I am ideally looking for mental stimulation games. We have a kong and a toy that he rolls round on the floor which releases food. Thanks muchly.

How about buying a small sandpit for the garden and hiding toys in it for him do dig out? Or getting some agility tunnels and setting them out in the garden? Or just teaching new tricks? Roll over, 'take it' (take and hold onto something), speak, place, 'out' (as in leave the room) and others you havnt done yet.
