    Does he deserve a knighthood?

No. But he will get on for what he is done for Johnson and the twisted campaign that was run. Is anyone expecting anything but corruption now?

No, but then most of them don’t deserve their awards either.

Just look at those failed MP’s now sitting in the House of Lords.

The days are long gone when being on the Honours List actually meant anything!

Well, on a personal level, he's achieved much more than most people ever do. Becoming leader of the Conservative Party is probably a one in 30 million chance or there abouts.
However, for what he did with those achievements and resulting power, he should be vilified or derided not honoured

The man seems to have no emotion or humanity

No, but I’ve always felt awarding MPs honours is corrupt and cliquey on the part of any party. It is good that people are protesting and very vocally, at least some have spirit left to shout.

Interesting article here about those who have turned down honours. They omitted Honor Blackman who reportedly rejected what I think was a Damehood.

Some surprises too, such as Hughie Green!

The petition against IDS receiving a Knighthood has so far achieved 150,000.

I wonder if anyone will sacrifice their 'honours' as a protest to him getting one? We'll see.
