OK, so it seems the kittens like me ... But I think they like me too much! Literally it seems that all day and night they need to be near me!

Rilly shouts them to let them know the milk bar is open, but they just lift their heads and think better of it. I literally have to put them down to her for them to feed!

Well that was until today anyway  I am barely sleeping as they are climbing all over me, fighting me and biting me. But then they settle to sleep. Rilly is obviously wise to the fact and has now adopted a new strategy to get them to feed. I have been woken twice today by Rilly curling up on my boobs and calling them to her. So I have 1 adult cat and 4 x 5 week old kittens sprawled out on my boobs feeding, purring and then all falling to sleep

As I type this I have one kitten asleep on my left shoulder, one between my knees and the other two on my boobs! Mum is sprawled out on the table next to me purring away.

They are all now clearly happy with the situation, but I think they all think I'm a cat now or something

Obviously I need to do something, as this can't be good right? But what and how? Or should I just accept that my boobs are more comfortable than anywhere else for them to sleep, and let them?

There is no crying for me if I leave the room or anything, so I don't think there are anxiety issues, but will there be some if it continues?

I've never, in all my years had animals as fussy as these babies. It's lovely and I do love it, but I'm worried about the kids mental health as they grow!

Hahaha great minds think alike! I'd start worrying if they tried using your armpits as litter trays lol. You're obviously far more comfy than their own bed!! I probably wouldn't worry too much if mum's happy ... At the worst, you'll have VERY people friendly lap cats to rehome in 9 weeks. Enjoy them! I'm really broody for kittens now lol, Bea's due on the 4th July - seems ages away!

    :p

That's what I'm hoping, but I have a niggling doubt that it's not good.

awww hun your not doing anything wrong at all!!!! In fact it will mean your kittens are lovely well rounded socialised little things.

My only hint would be that when your weaning you start getting them used to being fed and handled by as many different people (obviously taking safety into account) so that they are ultra socialised.

Seriously hun dont fret, they will make the perfect lap cats!
