lol i love my little mcgee even if he has learnt how to turn my laptop off
My girls know which button turns my computer on standby, so they're banned from walking across the keyboard now
lol i try to stop mcgee but he just sits there purring hes tooooooo cute
I know what you mean - I have been here for around three months now but except for a few people haven't really made any friends. I've also noticed you don't get many rep points unless you are in with a clique either.
oooh true that true thattt
you seem to have many reps tho!
Not that many really and I think I've only got those in the last few weeks.
Maybe we should beg for some like others do.
i like the challenge of earning them
Hey don't let it get you down just carry on being you hun.xxxxxx
Rachh - I ahve been here for a few months and I wouldn't say I fit into any group here either, but I still get a lot out of being here anyway and I add people to my friends list - the ones whos posts make me laugh or make me think about things from a different perspective - all in all I am making my own group here filled with lovely people x
Give it a bit of time - it took me about 6 months to really get my stride. Even now I pop in and out and sometimes if I've been away for a few days It will take me a while to settle back in.
I give rep when I see a good post - and I always try to use my daily allowance.
Just post away, the more you post the more people will get to know you.
It can appear that there are a few cliques but I find if you just start posting once people get to know you they are welcoming.
Fleur, who's Fleur, never noticed her before :laugh:
bah, who really cares about rep points lol
points are ment to make prizes, i dont see any prizes.
I always made an effort to say hi...just not been here lately so don't think I'm rude... I try to get on with everyone xxxxxxxxx
Hey every person has a right to be on here, didn't you help people by posting multiple pics of their pets?? Then you are a very worthwhile member and I think you should stay. It can be cliquey but only because people who have been on here for ages chat to each other. There is plenty of room for good people like yourself.
Please stay. Love your pics btw. How on earth do you do that?
I dont know if i missed your first post or your introduction when you joined the forum... anyway... welcome aboard...
Forum life can be pants sometimes its like life in a way.. but honistly i wouldnt leave as there great members on here with great advise and help and fun threads give it time.. i did
I am sure you will be ok..
Yes I agree with that Sharon.:thumbup1: It's just such a big forum to get used to I think and I suppose posts can be easily missed. There are some lovely people on here though and I definitely want to stay.
Don't go, it takes time!
I've been a member on here for a while (although I've not been posting as long as I've been a member for) and although I woud talk to a few people, it's only recently that I'm starting to feel I fit in, even though'm still not sure I do I keep posting! People will either read my posts or they won't! :001_tt2: lol. I mainly read threads and other people's posts anyway, I don't feel like I have much experience in most things to give advice.
You don't need much experience - I just like giving my pennies worth, LOL
Sometimes getting the opinions and experiences of a new pet owner is invaluable support.
I know I appreciate advice and help from those with years of experience and those with new pets.
It's such a shame that new people feel like this
You have to remember that some of us have been on the forum for a long time, so you get to know each other over time.
It is impossible to agree with each other all of the time, even so called best friends disagree
Please give it time and I'm sure that you will settle in. Everyone has something worthwhile to contribute, even me
