Oooops I wonder if I should have thought of that before I adopted Xander this morning, actually my oh took it really well, but that could be because I told him I was looking after Xander for someone:D

I think if I start bidding on rat cages I will be divorced though so bid away srhdufe.

Poor Sandra isn't dead yet, but if she does pop her clogs I may have to keep Xander, that would be terrible but what else could I do? Hey maybe you could look after the rat for Sandra, just till she gets over her illness:D

I've just realised that anyone else reading this post will think we've just lost it:eek:ut:.

That cage is awful, and no way suited for rats to live in. They'd chew their way out in no time, and it would get too hot as it doesn't look that well-ventilated.

I wouldn't be allowed rats yet anyway:( but I have to agree, it looks great for the owner to look at but would be horrible for the poor rats, a bit like a lot of hamster cages on the market:rolleyes:. Maybe my oh will agree to a couple of rats when I haven't got mice any more cos they could use the mouse cage (hopefully the mice will be around for ages yet though).

Its not your average mouse cage:D. Its supposed to be for rats or chinchillas.
