    Thanks everuone :D

Around 17 weeks if her previous owner was correct. The vet told me it was better to have her done early then said she had to be 2Kg at the least. Took us 3 weeks to get there.

    Well, today is the day!

I shall be dropping them off at the vets at 8:30 and then I shall be a jibbering wreck for the rest of the day worrying.

At the moment they're driving me crazy as they want their breakfast!

Oh best of luck for today, they will be fine. I know it's horrid the day waiting thing but try not to worry. They will jumping around like nothing has happened tomorrow-ish, if not today.

When can you pick them up at the vet's?

I remember the 'worrying' part when I got Rocky to the vet's two years ago.
But after all, it's the best I think, for the cats and for you: imagine them having baby kittens all the time. Anyway, that's what convinced ME... ;)
So... Good luck to you and to Charlie & Lola!

They will be fine, try not to worry. You are doing the right thing. They might be bit groggy today but will be back to their normal selves tomorrow. :)

Well, the vets have rung. They have both come around really well and I can pick them up after 3pm, so I will be going soon.

They have both been chipped as well :D

    THEY'RE HOME!

Kittykat I would love to pamper them, but they're not speaking to me at the moment.

Charlie howelled all the way home and then spend the first five minutes at home wondering around crying (He's now napping in a sumbeam on the kicthen windowsil).

Lola was very unsteady on her feet so I have put her in my bedroom to sleep. She's chosen to sleep under our bed, but when I checked on her she looked at me and a swear I could read her mind. She was thinking, 'you utter cow! Look what you've done to me!'

They have their post op check up on Monday and all being well they can go back outside after that. What's the betting it'll rain from Monday onwards!

aw you must feel awful, I'm sure they are just still coming off all the drugs tho and a bit disorientated :) When I brought my boy home after neutering he fell asleep with his head in his food bowl! lol

Tomorrow they will be like nothings happened :)

Lola has ventured out from under the bed and both of them are moving about a bit better. In fact Charlie is driving me potty with his jumping and climbing about.

They have both had a light dinner and are settling down very well, there has been a bit of grooming going on. Should I be stopping them from licking their wounds? The vet nurse didn't mention it.

Charlie keeps crying at me. Could he be in pain or is he just straving after not eating since 7pm yesterday?
