 He is so massive, where on earth did you find the space for him? He is gorgeous! Is that the mini silent spinner he has? Check to make sure that he doesn't curl his tail over his back, most mice are too big for the mini one and he could hurt his spin if the wheel isn't big enough, for most mice the regular silent spinner is best :) Well done on you giving him a new home :) He looks so cheeky peeking at you between the bars :)

Yes I think it is the small one though he hasn't even tried to use it yet as there's no pee pee in it.
I'll look at getting another one for him what size do u recommend for a mouse?

How old would u say he is?

He is rather yummy. And tame!

Right is the medium flying saucer any good? It's 6.5inches the silent spinner I currently have is only 4.5inch.
    Thanks

What do u mean mouse???? It is not a mouse!......... Is it? :001_tongue:

Bobby enjoyed some chicken last nite and a nice chicken bone.
Am I ok to feed him my rat food?
He seems to eat it fine he also gets some wild bird seed as he loves munching on them and he likes millet.

    Thanks

Forgot to ask is it normal for a male mouse to pong so much?
My hubby went a bit mad when he came home to the smell.
I only had him a day and he stunk to high heaven.

I've got him on Eco bed and paper cat litter untill I can get more megazorb I'm going back to that as my rats reek on Eco bed its not good at masking smells and I'm having to clean the base out every 4 days.:nonod:

When I had un neutered males they only smelt when I changed their cages, after that I never fully cleaned them, I cleaned half the cage and they didnt feel the desire to scent mark as much. They always have a bit of a musky smell but if you start cleaning half the cage you will probably find its not too bad. My rats and mice eat the same as each other, its best to avoid peanuts for mice as a huge amount of them are allergic to them.

The cage looks like a dream cage for a mousie, dont know why youve done it like that for your miniature rat though  ;). I have hammocks and tubes attached to the roof and sides of the cage, they like to use them as walkways and you can hang treats from the roof so it makes it just that little bit harder to get to them. as far as hay goes I dont use it, I found that a few of them got itchy when I used it in the past so I just use tissue now as a bedding material and shredded paper for most of the cage.

He so cute! I've only had females so the Eco Pet does good for me, i use hay always have my mice love it but i do give shredded tissue paper and newspaper aswell so they have the choice too, normally a mix of all 3. My mice love tunnels too but their favourite thing is digging in some soil:p
