I was too busy arguing with OH about my driving and didn't notice the van... oh well!

    Oh dear :(

Hope the course is interesting.... .

My friend was moaning the other day about being stopped for speeding Lol
( She's a terrible driver! ) She was stopped the week before for talking on her mobile!!! Bitching about the audacity of it, like talking on a phone should be allowed lol.

No, it is was your fault, you were driving and should have been watching what you were doing not arguing.

You lot have got it cushy nowadays. When I started driving in the early sixties I was delivering goods up and down the country in a Morris 1000 van.

Speed limit then for ANY commercial vehicle was 30mph... even a mini van...and that was on ALL roads. It made journeys a real drag. We were forever looking out for speed cops.

They raised it to 40 later and then higher when the motorways came in.
