    .... Men :rolleyes::

    I was fast asleep, when I get nudged, my name is called and my peaceful slumber is destroyed as i get woken up

    "The chickens are making a noise" I get told.

    "I can't hear them" I reply, irately as I had just been woken up.

    "They've stopped now" is reply I receive.

    He has is now fast asleep again, snoring like a good 'Un, and I am now wide awake and can't get back to sleep :nono:

    I think I'm going to get up, have a shower and stomp around the house making as much noise as I can.

    Not happy :nonod:

    That sounds ominous. Has anyone checked the chickens?
    I saw a fox the other day, hanging of a goose, the goose was lucky that I just happened by at that moment.
    Give him a shove and tell him to get up and check the chickens because they've gone quiet ;)

    The chickens are fine.... Overnight they are in two massive, fox proof runs, so they can leave their coops and be safe in secure runs until we let them out to free range... Although they will frequently set off alarm calls if the cat from two doors down bothers them :rolleyes::

    He walks up and down the side of the runs to freak them out!

    It's amazing that men can't seem to go and do something off their own back, they need someone to hold their hand. If that had been the other way round we would have just gone and taken a look :rolleyes: If I were you I would start hoovering right next to where he is sleeping ;)
