We went to pick up the kittens today. As you know I've been worried about getting them early. On top of that, I recently discovered that the breeder was going to give away the mummy cat. She's had 4 litters and she's only 3 years old (not all with the breeder).

I spoke to my dh and to cut a long story short we now have mummy cat as well!

Molly (mummy cat) and Casper and Chloe are currently having fun exploring.

How fantastic that you adopted the mummy as well, now Chloe and Casper can stay with their mum in their new home.

How are they settling in over there?

Sounds like you have a full house now. Hopefully the settling in period will be easier with Mum around. Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Yes - we are going to get Molly spayed as soon as we can. One of the reasons we took her in is because we were worried that she'd go on to another home and continue to have babies. She is gorgeous. Will take some pics of her tomorrow. We'll get Chloe and Casper done as soon as they are old enough. We thought we'd get her settled into our house first before putting her through a big op. At the moment she's not allowed out and also still feeding. We are going to take them all to the vet tomorrow and discuss stuff with them.

Molly's fur is all tangled up. Any advice on how I can untangle her without causing too much distress?

Well done you! And congratulations on your new family :D

When my cat Sugar got a bit matted the groomer used talc and just combed it out. The talc helps, and smells great!

    Looking forward to pics.
