    At least it might be stopping it eating baby birds, though I doubt it :(

    Magpies and Wood Pigeons are the gannets in my garden. I can hear the Magpies out in the garden as I type - noisy beggars!

    I don't begrudge them though.

    They tend to come down for the early sitting - I wake around 6 and put out some then.

    The other birds then get a look in at the 2nds and 3rds ;)

    Luckily, OH works near a wholesalers so I get big sacks of food and nuts much cheaper.

    They devour my fat blocks as well, I don't mind though, I rather like the much maligned magpie.
