My sis who lives next door (unfortunatley) wanted me to look after her dog Friday so she could go out for the day to Silverstone, cos she had free tickets, ok I didnt mind so says ok, then she asks if I could have him Sat as well as they wanted to go again, ok thats no problem, then she phones me to ask what the phone number is of a couple we know, I ask why and she says I wonder if they want the free tickets for Sunday! Mmmmm we just looked after her dog for two days! and never asked us if we would like to go, sorry to say this but she is one nasty person!
    rant over lol

I agree a bit harsh!! After all if you hadn't looked the dog then they wouldn't have been able to go anywhere in the first place!!

Not much sisterly love there then. I don't think I would be in too much of a rush to look after their dog next time they want to go out for the day.

My sister lives in Wales. she comes to visit my mum who lives 2 minutes away and goes to see my brother but never bothers to come to see me.

I would also make myself suddenly unavailable should her dog need looking after for the day. But then that's just me.

Freyja that sounds very much like DH's family. Most upsetting was every Christmas he would visit DH's sister for the day. She lived less then 2 minutes away (on the same road), but he would never come round to see us or his grandchildren. And he wonders why we moved without telling him and no longer speak to him

Maybe she have taught of giving the tickets to you but then again you might not like it...

but if i were here i will totally offer to you the ticket first before giving it to someone else...
