I already have boredom toys and a mirror, however he is still scoring his teeth on the metal on the stable door.

Any idea how to prevent this? I’m not there 24/7 and when I am there he doesn’t do it.

If I take the metal off he will then crib bite.

    Any suggestions or advise?

    Thanks

I would have suggested boredom toys but since you've already tried them all I can say is ask your vet for a solution they are bound to have dealt with them before. S xx

Have you tried cribox or some other nasty tasting concoction?
Is he getting enough turnout? Problem is when they start habits like this it’s one heck of a job to try and stop it!

Can he be turned out more?

Can he see other horses from his stable?

If he's turned out, I'm guessing he does the same to the fencing (if it's post and rail)?
