If you decided to share your life with a dog, you should know the responsibility that implies. And you must also find a balanced formula for the dog to be happy and healthy, both physically and emotionally. so how to keep your dog healthy and happy?

So keep in mind that it is not enough to cover your material needs. But that doesn’t reach with just spoiling it. For a dog to be healthy and happy, then you must consider a series of questions. Keep in mind these tips that we leave you below.

Give quality food and according to their characteristics
Beyond the type of food -commercial or homemade- that you decide to give to your pet, a consultation with the veterinarian or, better yet, with an expert in animal nutrition is required.
A professional will know what is the best option to feed your hairy at every stage of his life. The issues to consider are, for example:
    • Race
    • Age
    • Size
    • Weight
    • Level of physical activity
In addition, the specialist should point out the amount of food you must give per day and how to handle the issue of prizes and treats. Remember also that you should always have enough fresh water available. And that you should provide a clean and ventilated space for your rest.

Try to perform physical activity appropriate to your needs
While all furry ones require daily and exploratory walks, which also allow them to play and interact with other dogs, not all need the same level of physical activity.
There are breeds that were used as working dogs and they must spend all that energy they possess. Others are calmer. But the truth is that dogs also need exercise to keep their heart, bones, and muscles in good condition.

The veterinarian can tell you what level of physical activity your four-legged friend should develop according to their characteristics. What should be clear is that the walks aren’t just for your pet to pee and poop outside the house.

    Well, I'm shocked.

I offer a prize every week for the Best Behaved Dog.

So far, nobody has won it.

I think if someone else originally wrote that should be credited. Otherwise it's plagiarism.
    However
suggests maybe @Mike Jones did write it himself. Hairy what, exactly?
