Just had the shopping delivered and the tag has been left on the bicardi. Not very brace as to how to get it off has anyone got any tried and tested methods?!

Looking like a drill at the minute, cba to go the shop with it.

Presumably you want to open it to have a taste? ;)

No clue how that is done - would be better to phone the shop and have another one delivered.

Well the problem is its a 1 litre bottle of bicardi and it'd take Mum a couple months to drink it  I don't do drink very much so I can't/wont help her :D

I bet it needs a big magnet though, right? :(

I would phone the store. Its their error and therefore their problem.

I know but it can't be that easily fixed. Delivery guy said they can come back and get it later (he's got other places to go to and wont be back at the local shop for a long long time) and they might be able to bring another without it on or might not.

Otherwise I can go to the store and get them to do it but I can't really be arsed, Mum is going there straight after work so she'd have to come back and go again and I really need to get on with my essays, shop will be rammed :(

Not sure, I have the perfect magnet for when asda deliver and leave tags on. I wouldn't wanna go shop cos its gonna bleep when you walk in.

Not sure if its a big magnet, when doing it in a shop the force when you do it is quite strong so may very well be a strong magnet :/

Seeing as its this big (its a 1 litre bottle not a baby one), I'd say no

And I've got braces on my top teeth which are costing lots of money and mean my teeth might be a bit wibbly wobbly at the minute, don't want to damage them :(

Will have to go in store but I bet it'll be busy and the sensor things will bleep when I go in so I look like a thieving tit :(

See my photo above. I could try drilling but our drill is currently dead and I would be afraid of breaking it :(

Ring customer services and say that you are not very happy! And if they tell you take it back to the shop, tell them that you want something sent through to the store and for them to know you are coming. Also do you have a reciept?

They're the only ones I've seen for a while (bigggggg supermarkets here), not sure what others there are. The delivery guy said I could drill it but I'd really rather not. From the receipt they must scan everything on a conveyor belt and pack it so I dunno how it got missed. Puts me off ordering online again though, we only did it to avoid people's easter rush shopping.

Yup got the receipt with everything on. I rang them they sounded hugely busy and said I can go in to do it but they can't get one out to me today from the looks of it and I don't want to have to sit in tomorrow waiting for a bottle of plonk so I think I will just go to the store.

I might loiter outside and grab the nearest employee saying I've not nicked it but I don't want to get bleeped at

Yeah, if a big security guy walks up to you just wave your reciept x

You could place the bottle in a tub and slowly wait for it to empty out of the bottle, then you wont have to remove the tag lol x

That photo made me feel sad :(
Shouldn't be allowed to happen to a lovely bottle like that.
I blame the nanny state, drinking rules gone mad :
