When he has a day out with an oldie :) (That's Alfie not me ;))

Take them both to a pond/lake :D

The old one may venture into the water too :)

While the old one potters, the Chessie is in his favourite element

You then have a picnic to assess the old one and decide if you should go to the second walk you had planned :)

Looks like a lovely day, btw have you read Gwen Bailey's book "Hell on four paws" about a chesapeake? I'd recommend it, an honest story rather than a know-it-all preach from a dog trainer.

We have now been to two places that both OH and myself have heard about for a long time but had never seen :)
It was a bit too busy for us at both sites today, but the dogs didn't care :D
