Me and my OH we're discussing this tonight, we've been together 12 years now, OH was my age when we got together

Where does the time go! It's flown by

My mum has been dead three years already

It's almost Christmas (this years gone super quick!)

Anyone else think the years are going quickly?

Supposedly, the older you get the faster time appears to go by.

Of course it doesn't go faster, but I read somewhere that the feeling of it going faster is something to do with how long a year is in proportion to your whole life.

So if you was 1 years old, the next year would be a whole 50% of your life so far and so it seems like a very long time, etc. etc.

I certainly feel like time flashes by way too quickly - I wish I could put the brakes on it somehow! :cryin:

My OH has been talking about doing the trans-siberian railway from russia to china for a couple of years - last night he said maybe we should book it for our 20th wedding anniversary next year
As long as I didn't mind not going to Venice - we got married there and went back for our 10th anniversary and always said we's go back again at 20

Having know my hubby for 25 years, lived with him for 24 years I can't believe our eldest daughter is 23 and our baby is 17 -time really has flown by But I'm looking forward to the next 25 years :D

Oddly, I find the days pass slowly but the years fly by.

    Yes I see that

Here I'm accusing Tink when it was her OH that was the one robbing the cradle. I bet time goes by faster for him since he's older.

Ahhhh, that's another thing. As the years fly by my brain becomes less quick on the uptake. :yikes:

 Liar liar pants on fire

It's just not fair! The years should slow down and the mind should speed up. NOT the other way around! :mad2:
