Just got back from a trot around the road with Alfie and been nosing in the windows of those that don't draw their curtains.
All but one seemed to have a cinema screen on their walls. The other had a large free standing flat screen.

Mines about 20 years old and looks a bit like this

    11 mths.

    I have a techy-geek hubby who likes tv's.

If he hadn't moved in, I'd still have my old 28" mega-sized tube thing that weighed a ton and took up half the room. :)

Our main one is about 4 years old . 32' Sony. The kids tv's were new last christmas, both little flat screen tv's with dvd built in.

Those older tv's weigh a ton compared to todays versions Rona.

I think mine is probably about 6 years old. I dont have a wall hangy one though coz Im worried it would pull my wall down!! (highly likely with the state of the place!).
My bedroom telly is a big ol' fashioned one though (I dont use it much and it still has a video player attached to it!!:D).

i've had mine for four years. my parents donated it to me when i moved into my flat - they'd had it for a good 10 years or so before that! so it's ancient, but i refuse to change it until it stops working! :p

OH tricked me... Our old TV died about 3 years ago and we went to look at flatsceens ..
WE picked out one which I thought was more than big enough but the salesman was taking ages and I was getting hot and dizzy in the shop so I stepped outside while OH dealt with the purchase...

As I stood outside waiting for him I noticed people coming out of te shop laughing and nudging each other looking at me... Then I saw OH emerge with what looked like a door in a box :yikes:

HE had decided we needed the cinama sized screen

Every woman who comes to the house remarks thats its too big ..every bloke says 'wow, bril ,bet the porn/sport/ is great on that'

The one in our sitting room is a 37" jobby and the other in the Kitchen extension is a 29".

They're about a couple of years old now - only because the last two decided to go kaput together!

    :)

Ours is quite new about 3-4 months old but that's because hubby said our old TV was on its way out plus he wanted a 55" 3D smart TV . Our old one lasted us 5 years. :)
