    I have a Classica T8 Ocean Moonlight Lamp - 14W 15" (FZ14)

In the tank I have 3 platys, 3 danios, 3 amano shrimps and 3 horned nerite snails, I also have a marimo moss ball, and 2 tropica microsorum pteropus plants.

The tank is placed in a room which is away from direct sunlight, but the room receives low amount of light. Being in England, the amount of daylight (especially in winter) isn't great, so I was wondering how long and when I should use my aquarium light?

    Typically 6-7 hours is enough.
