I have had my 54 l tank set up 2 months now and would like to add some more fish I started with 3 female platys .

one was ill and died one was pregnant so the pets shop said they could take it back so now I’m left with just two .

I would like to introduce some more fish . I was thinking of getting it back up to 4 or 5 platies again but I was also looking at maybe getting some small tetras . Would this be too many , how could I have both ?

I also would like to know how I should add the new ones in ?, would I add them in all at one 4 at a time in pairs I’m not really sure ?
also how would adding new fish effect my two platies in there .
Thank you for any advice in advance
