We recently adopted a wonderful cat. She’s very sweet and curious and even though she spent the first few hours hiding, she was always open to affection. Yesterday when we got her, after maybe 5/6 hours she would come out from under the table straight to us when prompted. Today, a day after we adopted her, she no longer spends her time under the table but laying out in the open and is always receptive to being pet and seeks it out from us. Other than being sick today and having some diarrhoea she’s feeling better now. We live in an apartment so the rest of the apartment is no bigger than 2/3x the size of our bedroom that’s she’s in. Would letting her out tomorrow be good or bad and having her run of the apartment? We’re making sure to get rid of any hazards and I’m home during the hole day while my husband works. Thoughts and experiences?

She was never feral. She was only in the animal shelter for 2 days when we picked her and she was surrendered because her wonder passed away. 2 and a half year old female, domestic Long-Haired toirtoishell. She’s bit my husband and hissed at him once but is very friendly, bit me a couple of times but with no real malice and only when’s she’s rubbing against me and I’m. It using my hands to pet her.
