I baked some cup cakes last night and iced them with "chocolate" buttercream (icing sugar, cocoa powder and a little water). There was a mishap with the piping bag though, it broke, reusable, yeah right, didn't work for one use!
How long will they keep for?

If kept in an air tight tin/tub in a cool place but not the fridge I would say 2 - 3 days they will last longer but they get dry and crumbly after a couple days.

In my house about half an hour lol but for keeping purposes 2-3 days before they go past their best. Keep them airtight.
