    FOR THE PETS
To be posted VERY LOW on the refrigerator door - nose height.

    Dear Dogs and Cats,

The dishes with the paw print are yours and contain your food. The
other dishes are mine and contain my food. Please note, placing a paw
print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it
becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the
    slightest.

The stairway was not designed by FORMULA ONE and is not a racetrack.
Beating me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help because
I fall faster than you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry
about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to
ensure your comfort. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when
they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other
stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking
tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to
maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.

For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by
some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is
not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your
paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through
the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for
years --canine or feline attendance is not required.

The proper order is kiss me first, then go smell the other dog or
cat's butt. I cannot stress this enough!

To pacify you, my dear pets, I have posted the following message on
    our front door:

To All Non- Pet Owners Who Visit & Like to Complain About Our Pets:
    1. They live here. You don't.
    2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the
furniture. That's why they call it
    "fur"niture.)
    3. I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.
    4. To you, it's an animal. To me, he/she is an adopted son/daughter
who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly.

Remember: Dogs and cats are better than kids because they:
    1. Eat less ( HA )
    2. Don't ask for money all the time
    3. Are easier to train (except: Golden Retrievers)
    4. Normally come when called ( For the dogs )
    5. Never ask to drive the car
    6. Don't hang out with drug-using friends
    7. Don't smoke or drink
    8. Don't have to buy the latest fashions
    9. Don't want to wear your clothes
    10. Don't need a gazillion dollars for college, and...

  2. Thets very useful!
I'll have to teach my furies to read thought!
I hope I'll be able to make a "Cat humor" page on my website in a week or so too.

I'm still a bit green when it comes to PC user friendly mode. I might need a few days to work out how you do that first. You will know by the end of this post whether I worked it out, or not as the case may be:eek:)
If anyone can help me on that one, I would be delighted to hear from you please?

We have a large feline family here right now. It changes from time to time because I do quite a bit of rescue work, & we also have a couple of breeding Queens(for each male), 2 stud boys & a litter of 5 kittens at the moment- Ragdoll kittens this time- 2 girls & 3 boys. They are lovely little kitties all due to go to their new kitten- slaves & home's just before Christmas. (8 adults & 5 kittens)

I was desperate to ensure that none of them end up as Xmas presents, so I advertised the litter before they were even born! By the time they arrived, they were all spoken for. It also gave me the chance to get to know our latest adoptive families quite well, & most of them stay in touch with us which is really nice too. They visit thier kitten's, & every other Saturday I hold an open day if we have any rescue Queens & kittens available. (none currently, only our own)

    Ragdolls:
    Taz,
    Blue- Belle,
    Bryone,
    Gypsy.

    Birmans:
    Tiggy,
    Lilly,
    Biffy.
Also, our domestic short haired Orange Tabby male called Ringo.

Talk about eyes in the bottom of your feet when the kittens get mobile.
With a large *Hoomin- Beans* family of 5 children, there are plenty of laps to be shared & kept warm of course!!
What more could I ask for??!!

Here are the rest of our feline family including a couple of kittens out of the present litter. Too cute for their own good, but we get hours of entertainment out of just watching them grow up. Hand rearing can be hard work, but it is well worth the effort required when you see them a year later, all big & full of the joys of spring. You would never believe they were hand reared in most cases...

    Hence- House Rules, Lol

Thank you. Mum are from Emerisle stock, & Daddy is from Purrfurus lines. I must admit that I chose mummy for her eye colouring. In the end, we turned out to be the best of friends too. What a bonus. both her & her mate Taz are soppy old things & we love them dearly. I sometimes wonder how we would be without our masters & mistress's to order us about?!!!

Thank you very much. They do have nice eye colouring. I have a littler now ready & waiting for their new kitten - slaves to collect. It's always sad to see them go, but good to know that we have found the right families for them all. I normally advertise them before they arrive, so that we get time to meet their new families & also so that the kittens-slaves get to know us too- that way they feel comfortable around us & more often than not, become friends usually.
