I've been looking into ways to travel across Europe with my dog so she doesn't have to fly in the cargo hold. And the Eurostar doesn't accept dogs. I hope due to there financial circumstances they change this policy but at the moment it stays, I wasn't planning on driving as it would take over 25 hours driving and a train would be easier. What are your experiences?

Can you get a train to Dover then cross to Calais and pick up the train there, or even Harwich to the Netherlands?
