    Hi all

I'm going away for a month on 22 July and I have no one to leave my bunny with. I really can't afford a bunny hotel as we have already spent so much on this holiday. Does anyone know someone who could help me out. I'm willing to pay them (just not as much as a bunny hotel) and of course I will leave food and toys for him. He's neutered and litter trained. He's so lovely. He's and indoor bunny and has never been outside unless it's for supervised play. Thanks so much in advance for taking the time to read.

Forgive me, but what was your plan? What were you expecting to happen with bunny?

Use one of your local dog walkers, they'll pop in an feed, clean and water.

You should have thought about that before booking your holiday!

    Irresponsible, shameful and selfish imo

If you google Rabbit boarding you should find some local boarders. For example I found one near me that charges £4.50 a day which I think is pretty reasonable, works out £180 for the month.

That's cheaper than a dog walker as well.

This is absolutely ridiculous!! Isn't this forum here to help others and not criticise people. Don't talk rubbish if you haven't got a clue about people's circumstances. I have had two kids and my dad hasn't met them so we are going to South America so he can meet them. We have saved for this trip for so long. Now I was asking if someone knew about a cheaper option because the only where I can leave him is with my sister in love who works all day and has a dog and a cat and I wouldn't want my rabbit to be locked in a room the whole day on his own as he's used to having the whole house to himself and being around people all the time. LURCHERLAND shouldn't be allowed to be on here. Thanks though to the ones who did offer advice! Very disappointed to say the least

By LURCHERLAND, I assume you mean me?

This is a forum for animal lovers!

You should have made sure you had somewhere lined up for your rabbits BEFORE booking your holiday - not just wing it and hope for the best.

It's hardly a surprise you are going on holiday - so it's not an unfortunate emergency - I have no sympathy for you, though plenty for the rabbits ;)

    Bon voyage! :p

You need to say where you live (unless I missed it).
