Hi all. Would someone be able to tell me what a hip replacement full and partial would cost in vet fees please? difference normal vet and specialist? Could I go to the supervet? or will that be = super charges?

I doubt any one could give you a figure as it would be down to what your vet charges and the size of the dog and how long the op takes components needed etc etc , but they themselves should be able to give you an estimate and yes I do believe Super Vet = Super Charges.

I'd think you'd probably have to go to an orthopedic referral vet for a full hip replacement as some ops need expensive specialist surgical kit.

Cost can vary greatly between referral practices though & the area also can make a difference where overheads are much higher I.e london /south, its not a reflection of the quality of surgeons. Your normal vet will usually have referral specialists they prefer but clients can choose where to go.
