    Hi
Just joined this forum and wish to say hello. I have a lap duvet business, and recently I have sold a few to people with dogs and cats as there pets were using there own. They are extremely comfy, and best of all machine washable. OK, thats the sales bit over with. On another note we as a family are thinking of buying a dog and have narrowed it down to two, a basset hound or my own preference, a border collie (sheepdog). Any advice on these two breeds much appreciated

    Thanks

    John

Yes, I appreciate they both need lots of exercise, especially the collie. I just like the intelligence and nature of the collie, nothing against the basset but cant imagine it running after a tennis ball with the kids.

I kow what you mean with the basstes, i am sure they can, but you just can't see it can you :p
Personally I would get a collie, not that i have anything against bassets, i love them! But a collie is very outdoorsy and needs lots of time and stimulation and lots of exercising, which is good if you like long walks!!
