Hello there, and thank you for reading. Hopefully you have clicked on this advert because you may be able to help me.

I am a lady based near Watford, Herts, and I am looking to look after a kitten for a day, perhaps two if it is over the weekend - this may sound like an incredibly absurd request but I can assure you that this is very genuine and I am willing to talk, meet and discuss with owners before hand for as long as it takes for the trust to be established.

The reason for this strange advert is simply this - I am unable to keep animals but have always had pets including kittens throughout most of my life. I am desperately passionate about pets and kittens in particular, I have a loving boyfriend who is a cat fanatic, who has just bought a property so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to take home a bundle of joy to look after and to love, even just for a day or two.

Please please get in touch if you might need a kitty-sitter or if you might just need some help, say if you want to get away for the weekend - anything, if you do feel that you might want to meet a genuine, sociable and loving pet-lover, please get in touch.

    Thank you!

    Kind Regards,

    Kristina

Could you offer to foster for CPL or RSPCA?

I am very far from you but I am sure someone else could use your help.

Like a previous poster said have you looked into fostering for a cat charity?
They are always desperate for willing volunteers.

You could foster mums and kittens which are filling up rescue's everywhere at this time of year!

If you have a lot of time on your hand's and a keen interest in kittens you may find that taming feral kittens would be enjoyable

I am sure any charity would be glad to have you on board and you would helping cats in need.

Thank you so much for replying, guys... I have never looked into this before, so thank you for your suggestions! :) My only problem with this is the limited amount of time - I manage a business and full time monday-friday so this is the reason why I 'cannot' keep a pet as of course, I would hate to offer said pet a really bad quality of life with my lack of time to look after and love him/her.. so essentially I have weekends that I really just crave to do something like this - it must sound loopy! I am not sure, but am I right in assuming that fostering would be the same as adopting a rescue-cat (to own full time?)..

Thanks for all your help! :)
