my pet dog has started to have drops of blood appear in his urine, have noticed them on his rug at home. i would like someone who might know what it could be that is causeing him to have this problem and what i could do to help solve it. i have thought he might need some antibiotcs from the vets as he might have an infection, as we all know how expensive vets can be, i'd like some help from anyone before i take him to the vets. thank you to all who might be able to help me!!!!

Sounds like cystitis, another member's dog seems to be suffering the same problem.

It will require a trip to the vets, as its very painful, and doesnt really clear up without antibiotics.
