    hi,
we have a new puppy border collie 11 1/2 weeks old and hes been great, feeding well and doing toilet out out and having fun....

we have had bob for 2 weeks now with out any issues apart from normal stuff

this morning we got up to find he has messed in the front room and the kitchen but that's not the problem,i am concerned as he's pooh is runny like water and he don't seem to be him self.

he had hes first lot of injections a week ago and is due for the 2nd lot on the 31st,he has only been in our rear garden which the vet said is fine....

he has not eaten today which i can understand if my boy has a bad belly ,i am keeping a watch full eye .he's just not he's normal self....

should i be on the phone to the vet asap:001_unsure:

    any adivce:( please

    thanks kaz

    Hi Kaz,
Have you seen any sign of blood in his poo at all? is he drinking more than normal or not drinking at all?
These are two things you need to watch out for! IF he has blood in his poo then call a vet straight away!
Has he been sick at all?
Sorry for the question but it may help if we know more!
    Sandy

Hi,please don't worry too much.Puppies often get the runs, eating dirt, plants, titbits.Whenever mine have done this i've given them a spoon of live natural youhurt a few times and very often they are fine next day.Saying that you don't want to leave him too long so if he's bad in the morning i'd pop him in vets.Hope Bob feels better soon x

Sever diarrheoa in a pup so young can lead to dehydration in next to no time. Id get him seen ASAP.

I made the mistake of leaving mine when he was a pup and we almost lost him.

Maybe look at what you are feeding as collies can have dicky tums. I think if there was any blood you would see signs of it round his rear end so if he poops again have a quick look. Oh the joys of owning a dog.

Glad he is feeling better, i know how worrying it is having a sickly pup as we nearly lost Logan at 10 weeks with a severe tummy infection and i couldn't sleep with worry and shed sooooo many tears!! But thankfully he is well now.

Hope your pup continues to improve and thrive, he is gorgeous!!! :D:)
