    I'm back
24 hours in hospital, not my idea of fun!!!
Got home yesterday evening feeling fine, then started getting pains in my side, my tum then bloated really badly.
Had the runs like never before and sick as well, pains where excruciating, but just thought it might be food poisoning so tried to leave it to see if it settled. Well 2 hours later I was rolling around on the floor in pain.
Ambulance called and off to hospital, pain relief given (oh that was good!!!!)
Loads of tests and x rays and they discovered a kidney stone on the move, but it had blocked my tube and all the fluid was backing up into my kidney and pressurising the tube.
Luckily for me, the stone moved quite quickly and the pain went.
My OH is absolutely exhausted, he's out with the dogs at the mo.
Thank you all for your best wishes xxxx

My OH had one of these and he was in agony, he was also told it was worse than labour, apparently morphine is a wonderful thing:D. So glad your feeling better now, stay away from filter coffee, tea and strawberrys they can cause more stones.

So glad you're home and feeling better, ive never had anything like that but my sister in law had kidney stones and i remember her saying the pain was like no other pain. You can live with stones for years and never have any trouble, but once they decide to move then you know about it.

Are they planning to remove them? she had them removed by keyhole. You can even have them as a momento in a jar if you wish.

    Take Care x
