Help with weights please x

    Well as many of you know mush had her kittens on Wednesday. I'm a bit unsure of there weight any advice would be fantastic there weights have gone

    Kitten 1
    Birth 127g
    Thursday 155g
    Friday 143g
    Today 155g

    Kitten 2
    Birth 115g
    Thursday 137g
    Friday 132g
    And today 145g

    Kitten 3
    Birth 117g
    Tuesday 143g
    Friday 142g
    Today 169g

    Kitten 4
    Birth 121g
    Thursday 134g
    Friday 138g
    Today 160g

    Are these ok ? They all seem to be feeding fine they have all been weight at 12.30 each day. I'm just unsure if it is ok or not xx

    They look fine - a small drop at the start isn't unusual. They should have gained around 100g over the week

    Yes these look fine to me. Roughly 10g a day in the norm, but sometimes a kitten won't gain as much one day but will make up for it the next. As long as the weights are steadily increasing week on week then all is well.

    They look OK, a dip is quite common, but would expect them to keep gaining most days from now on.

    Are you keeping a spreadsheet? It makes following trends easier.

    I was going to post one but see only image files can be uploaded. Let me know if you want it sending, it's for more recent versions of Excel (.xlsx) but I think I can save it for most spreadsheet programs. If you want it send me a PM.
