we have a 10 month old english bull terrier, we've had him for 2 months. The previous owner rehomed as their staffy didn't get on with him. He was very excitable when we got him but we weren't told alot about his behaviour! He screams alot on walks which is his main problem, at cars, people anything really. We've seen a dog trainer a few times, she's suggested when he starts screaming turn around immediately to try break the cycle. It started working for a bit but he's started it again.

He's not too bad in the house, does get over excited sometimes and nips or growls but we just tend to ignore him and walk away til he calms down. He's crated during the day and we feed him tripe, he has plenty of toys/bones to keep him occupied.

We've been on a bully walk, he loved it he's not aggressive at all to other dogs. He did scream quite a bit on that so we're not sure if he's nervous or excited. He has got out once on his own and wasn't screaming at all, it was all a big game! We have him on a harness but will be going to a halti soon to hopefully stop the pulling.

We're at the point where we're wondering if he's going to change, should we keep putting money and effort in or try and re-home him. He's a lovely natured dog just a few problems to iron out and as he's an adolescent not so easy.

    many thanks
