I have my guesses but I'd like other people's opinions, mostly for the black one but thought I'd ask about both :)
(FYI, cages are large + temporary until they're litter trained, healed from neutering + bonded)

Brown bunny is a dwarf lop
Black bunny looks like a Rex or a beveren to me

You American? American's have different names for dwarf bunnies, we call them Dwarf lops and Mini Lops, while Americans call Dwarf lops 'Holland lops' and Mini Lops 'Dwarf lops'

The black one doesn't have any Rex in it. Could well be a Silver Fox cross though. This is what they look like:

Your Lops ears look too long at the moment to be a Holland/Mini Lop, be able to tell better once he has grown up and about 6 months old. Mini/Hollands have quite short ears and stay under 2kg.

Thanks for the info! I agree, her fur isn't very Rex-ish to me. The brown one is actually 7 months old, but was very small and underweight when we got him. He's gaining weight safely and surely now though so hopefully once he's "filled out" a little more it may be easier to tell.

Nope, not American but the lady who runs the rescue centre we got him from was so maybe that's what confused me (sorry!). Good to know though
