Hi hopefully the pictures have attached sorry they are a bit blurry she won't stay still!. We've had our lovely hamster for about 8 weeks. She's a pretty happy hamster but today I noticed she's suddenly got some small white lumps on the outer edges of her ears - a few on one ear and a lot on the other. She doesn't appear bothered by them but they have literally appeared since yesterday as we get her out every night and they were not there yesterday.
I'm really worried about her now and not sure if this is a thing I need to go to the vet for?
I've looked online but can't find anything similar. It doesn't appear to look like warts as nothing growing inside her ear. Also no other symptoms to suggest mites? But she's our first hamster so I can't be sure about either. Any help greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

I had a rat who had something like this years ago, apparently it is caused by mites. I would advise going to the vets

I did a quick google and found this

I’ve seen that before on rats too, my guess is mites

I used a mangemite treatment and cleaned the cage and all the toys, and it's Completely cleared up. She's her happy self!
