New here. Pics attached are of my new wee boy Sonny! He has white swirls through his coat and is beautiful. Of all the coat types I’m unsure of what his is? Does anyone with Ragdoll experience have any guesses on his colouring changes as he grows?

That's a classic tabby pattern. Can't tell about the coloring, each picture looks different. Blue classic tabby? Beautiful kitten.

Is he from a registered breeder? Those are pretty strong tabby markings on the body for a pedigree ragdoll

His paperwork, along with conversations with the breeder should tell you the colour.

    He's a beautiful kitten!

Shouldn't all Ragdolls be pointed cats however?

there are Minks, but surely a kitten owner would know after seeking one out over the traditional colours.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I have never seen a Ragdoll with colouring all over and as dark as that. Did you get him from a registered breeder? As @spotty cats has said, his colouring should be on the pedigree. My Tiga had ghost stripes when he came to me but no where as dark as your beautiful boy. He soon lost them though. He is a seal tabby colourpoint Ragdoll. Here are pics of him then and now.

here he is at 13 weeks old. With ghost stripes.
And now at 10 years old. As you can see he is very pale on his side
Even my seal bi colour Simba isn’t very dark. I wish he was a little darker.

Sorry about the extra pictures. Just updated my iPad and it seems more sensitive than before. The picture of the caterpillars was my grandson growing them on to be butterflies in the summer. I must of accidentally touched it as I was scrolling through. I wish apple would stop keep updating lol.

As @spotty cats said, that's a very heavily marked Ragdoll kitten. I very much hope he's registered

Thank you. I think it hit me very hard at the time because he was so young. I also lost Mikki very young too my beautiful black and. white girl who loved both Bailey and Tiga. She had renal failure at 4 years old. My vet said he thought she may have been born with defective kidneys, and caught an infection that caused them to fail. It hit me hard with her too. I have never had a female cat since.

    How sad :(
I have 3 female cats and they all have the odd squabble every couple of days, but generally they are fine! Only Jumpy my male is a real cuddly lap cat though

Thank you @Treaclesmum. They were both very beautiful cats inside and their personality. Mikki used to love getting under the duvet between me and hubby, we both would have broken sleep in case we rolled on her and squashed her. Bailey would follow us around everywhere we went.
