help needed

    is it normal for the veins on a beagle puppys ears to be sticking out so far as i have never noticed them before.

    im really not sure although it may be the heat that does it,
    im sure somebody else will come along with a better and maybe more real answer than mine though, x

    Without seeing them, its hard to say for sure if its 100% normal.

    Had your dog been exercising or exerting himself? Was he hot?
    It is normal for them to become more prominant when a dog is feeling hot, as they help to cool the animal, by bringing the blood closer to the surface.

    Both my boys get more prominant veins on the ears, and one gets his on his legs/shoulder.

    have you got a picture of them? i havent noticed anything on our two like this?
