i need help i bought my brother a new fish tank and 2 new fish since then 2 of the 4 have died with wird marking like a layer of skin has come of i really need some help

Did you cycle the tank before putting the fish in?

We'll need some information on the tank first, including the size, filtration type and water parameters (pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate). Did you cycle the tank before adding the fish?

Almost 80% (not an exact figure) of fish-related diseases and deaths are caused by poor water quality.

Finally a photo would be useful, it doesn't matter if it's blurry.
