Today I have been to visit my new puppy. It will be a few weeks before he joins us yet but I need help finding a name. Usually I don't have this problem but am really struggling with this little chap. He is a male lurcher. I like unusual names. Currently have 5 other dogs called Griffin, Ebony, Stryder, Seren and Leo. I know some of those aren't unusual but my unusual name theme is fairly recent. Have previously had a Finbarre, Rogan and Gambit as names- more fitting to my theme. Sorry the pictures aren't very good they are from my phone and little pup did not want to sit still.

He will be striking when he is older. It is about time you put some other pictures of your lot up, if I remember correctly Stryder is my favourite, closely followed by Griffon.

What about Zeb as in short for zebra or Zebedee?

He's very unusual looking. I asked hubby as he is normally quite good at picking names all he could come up with was tigger

Look forward to seeing him grow up.

Eta he has now come up with Namir or Tiikiri or Tora which he thinks all mean tiger. Not sure where his tiger thing has come from but goes with Leo. On a second look we say Amur

What an incredible coat I agree with above Zeb for Zebra seems appropriate or Tigs for tiger or just Tigger cos Tiggers a wonderful thing.

Latin word for stripes is Virga how about that? It also means streak which seems appropriate for a lurcher. :D

You could make it Virgil as in Thunderbirds are go (showing my age now)

Oh how cute is he! I hope you will stay around and update us with pics, it will be lovely to see him growing up.

I think the suggested name of Zeb is a nice one.
    Jed?
I have a Simba and Sidney.
    Stanley.

I'm not great with names, they usually come to me as soon as I pick up my new baby animal, I don't generally plan them.
