hi there iv got a 7 week old kitten whos been great for the 4 days that i have had her.
today shes been sick and just wants to sleep and when i go near her theres a constant noise coming from her
my neighbour who works for cat protection had a look at her 2 days ago and said she looked healthy no sign of fleas and no noticable signs of worms but shes not in just now
    any suggestions please

Get her to the vet, kittens can go downhill really fast, better safe than sorry.

    Take her to a vet.
Kittens can go down hill very quickly if they are ill, and it does not sound as if you are experienced in dealing with cats to know when things arev worsening.
She needs to be registered anyway, and to get her first jabs, routine wormers etc

Can only agree. Don't wait - straight to vet.

I'd say you need kitty checking out by a professional vet. Could be worms. Most kittens are full of them, need regular worming til six months old at very least. If you've had your kitten 4 days and its only 7 weeks old, it was far too young to leave its mother and siblings. Kittens can go down hill very fast, and are very vulnerable til 16 wks of age. Is she drinking, peeing and pooping ok?

Definitely the vet. No alternative. And soon. In fact now.

:lol: Sorry I really shouldn't laugh but that is so funny! :) Welcome to the fold of cat owners!

But still a good idea to take her to the vet to get registered, checked etc.

How lovely, she's learnt to purr. I guess all purrs sound different, one of mine is like a finely tuned engine and the other, a rusty old tractor!

If ever you are worried again though, you know where we are.

:) Glad she seems ok now, but perhaps a check up at the vets next week might not be such a bad idea.
